This course is for Windows Server Hybrid Administrators. Windows Server Hybrid Administrators are responsible for administering core infrastructure services and they configure and manage Windows Server on-premises, hybrid, and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform workloads. They implement and manage infrastructure solutions, such as identity, management, compute, networking, and storage using on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies.
This role also manages advanced solutions including security, high availability, disaster recovery and migration. However, this course focuses on administering core infrastructure services. There is a separate course, AZ-801T00A, Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services, which covers more advanced services.

  • Manage network infrastructure services.

  • Deploy Azure virtual machines running Windows Server and configure networking and storage.

  • Manage Windows Server IaaS virtual machine remotely.

  • Administer and maintain Azure virtual machines running Windows Server.

  • Configure file servers and storage.

  • Implement file services in hybrid scenarios, using Azure Files and Azure File.

  • Prepare for AZ-800 certification.
